Since we only saw her in one episode we know very little about her. I hope she'll be back in Season 2. But the way she talked about love made me think she could have experienced love first hand. Maybe someone broke her heart or was murdered. She and Henry (Regina's father) don't look like they love each other. Of course her powers could have changed her similar to Rumplestiltskin's powers. I guess it could go either way.

I suspect Cora could very well be the queen of hearts in Wonderland, it is likely Regina banished her there as payback for what she did to the one love of her life.

I really hope we see her again. I would love to see her back story.

Since we know she was "the daughter of a miller" and the original Rumpelstiltskin story is about the millers daughter, I'm sure her back story will have some similarities to that tale. However in that tale the Rumpelstiltskin helps her spin straw into gold which leads to her marrying a king, and this price is her first born child. She ends up beating him by figuring out his name. Obviously that isn't what happened but I'm sure Rumpelstiltskin has something to do with Cora and her powers.

My theory is she somehow got his dagger.

As for the queen of hearts, that would be awesome.

Well since Regina doesn't have powers yet in Stable Boy I kind of think she killed her mother and somehow got her mother's powers. And the way Rumple is with power I can't really picture him giving power to Cora or Regina as he tried to get Snow to kill Regina in an earlier episode. He wants to be the most powerful so giving powers to another doesn't seem like something he'd do.

I agree he wouldn't do it willingly. That's why I think Cora got a hold of the dagger.

And I agree two about Regina. I think she killed Cora, or did something to her, and got her powers that way.

The thing is if she killed her mother instead of banishing her then there is no chance whatsoever of seeing Cora back other than in another flashback of Regina's past. I'd rather she'd be alive because she would make an excellent opponent and villain. Oh and as far as the dagger is concerned If Regina would have ever taken possession of it she would have had complete control over him from the getgo, she would not have needed to bargain anything with him so NO she never had it.

While I love the idea of Cora being the Queen of Hearts, I think it's more likely that Regina killed her. However, I don't think that's how Regina got her powers. I believe she had them all along (maybe they're passed on from mother to daughter?) but wasn't aware of them. Maybe when Regina killed her mother, her powers were finally unlocked?

i don't think she's died. and her return could lead to some interesting storyline that's for sure. a episode or 3, about how Regina got her powers, made an enemy of the queen of hearts and how she got Regina's father.

i got a feeling Cora will come back and that a lot could change with that.

I would guess that Regina's father helped her get her dark powers and Cora was the one who banished him to Wonderland.

I'm sure we'll see Cora again. There's still a lot we don't know about Regina, and Cora is an important part of her story.

After watching the promo, I think Regina might have gotten her powers by striking some kind of deal with Rumples, so she could get rid of her mother.
