[Rumple]

I don't think Rumple kills random people. I'm not quite sure about his reasoning behind the Fairy Godmother,but I think he killed Gaston because he liked Belle or atleast was lonely without someone for company and Gaston was threatening to take Belle away from him. For the soldiers, I think he killed them to protect his son as well as get revenge for the way they treated him. For the Queen, she seems to kill people that haven't done anything to hurt her or aren't any threat to her like her father,Graham(well I guess he kind of is since he remembers the curse),etc. Also, the Queen kills people without having any kind of curse on her. Rumple only started killing people after he was tricked into having the dark one's curse. Rumple seems to be capable of showing sympathy and love towards others though as he did towards his son and towards Belle. The only person who Regina/the Queen seems to genuinely care about it(and even then I'm not sure if she really does or is just pretending) is Henry. So, I would personally say that the Queen/ Regina is more evil than Rumple/Mr. Gold.

I agree that he doesn’t kill randomly. Actually I don't think anything Rumpelstiltskin does is random, which is why he is so awesome.

I see Rumpel as a master chess player. Every move he has made so far has been planed out. He is a precog, maybe he is one of those precogs who can foresee not but one future but many, and he is trying to make sure that the future that comes true is the one he wants. That would enplane why he does the things he does.
As for the thing with Bell, some precogs can not see any future that involves them. Seance Bell was close to him , he could not any thing about her future.

I would have said he killed the Fairy to, like, absorb her power. He really didn't care about her at all, he just wanted the wand. Maybe it's like some kind of HP bs. Kill the wizard to get the wand. I know that's lame. But the base thing is there. He's like, trying to be the top shark, yeah? Maybe by taking her power, he has enough to get back at the Queen or something.

I wonder if the rose aka Gaston is in Mr Golds shop? I loved this episode with Rumple and Belle. He really does love her and there is still good in him! I love the ending also where he tells her his real name!
