I know there is a separate thread for Snow & David but I think that there is enough to do one on Mary & David.
What do you guys think of the way their storyline is going? I mean right now it appears that David is full out lying to his wife ... acting as if he wants to make it work while really sneaking off with Mary Margaret ... picnics in the wood and such.
One thing I really like about both of these characters is that they are such "good" people and this almost seems beneath them. I mean I love them together but an affair doesn't quite seem to fit their personalities.
@Ali, I think you are correct in that they are better people than to be sneaking around, but I also think it has to do with the fact that they are as the Evil Queen put it, "some place horrible" which would make them do things they never would have done.
@tllp But Storybrooke seems to be the ONLY place where happily ever after happens (for Hansel and Gretel and Cinderella). Thus, far we haven't seen anyone in Fairy Tale land happy.
And yes, David definitely deserves a
Mary Margaret kinda does to...she wasn't even mad at David for the wrong card thing just disappointed. She should end it until he gets his act together rather than be the other woman

Omg Yes! I have been wishing from the start that she would just have told him that he had to choose between her and kathryn instead of sneaking around and being only a "part-time gf" so to say. He obviously cares more for Mary Margaret, but I think when he touched the windmill decoration wayyy back in an earlier episode, he fell under a spell that gave him false memories. He should really have trusted what he really feels, not what he thinks he should feel, and Mary Margaret needs to tell him this.

Exactly what I thought. I love Snow White x Prince Charming relationship,but the David x Mary relationship is so different and almost forced and their personalities are totally different than their personalities in fairy tale world. :/

I did like this relationship to start out but then he basically lied to Kathryn for weeks to date Mary Margaret in secret. Then lied to both women which only made things worse. After watching that episode I didn't really want him to be with either women. But then he doubts Mary Margaret's innoence which you could tell broke her heart. And I kind of agree with her words. She believed he was innocent, and defended him and he doubted her jusrt because of a flash of memory he can't remember clearly. I'm kind of not liking David that much right now. But hopefully he'll redeem himself before the finale or at least in Season 2.
I'm going to cut him some slack since it's the curse that makes him that way.
In FTL and the real world he has a strong desire to do the right thing just with the curse in the real world it's harder to figure out because things aren't what they seem.
However I am beginning to wonder if Rumpelstiltskin "charmed" charming or his sword in some way to make him more heroic so he could kill that dragon and now he's lacking that in Storybrooke.
All things considered. I think David should've used the Coma card.
He was in a coma for years. Wakes up with a conflicted love life, going back and forth with feelings for two women. Then starts having black outs, weird repressed memories and finally a huge fight with his wife/ her apparent murder at the hands of his mistress.
All in a matter of, at best, six months.
The guy ought to get a free pass on a moment of doubt.

No. No free passes since everyone in Storybrooke has sort of been living life in a daze.
